They cribbed; they complained and told me it wasn’t enough. With time I realized, the burden of society norms had taken a toll on me and I couldn’t recognize who I was anymore.

The only person I saw when I looked into the mirror was the one who knew things the society told her to do. That’s when I put my put down and began my journey as a whole new person, an actual person.

Surprisingly the world did complain even then but at least I was happy. I was proud of myself and the journey which took me to being a better person for my own sake and well being .
